Meri’s Musical Musings

The benefits of: parents making children practice, longer lessons, and long-term music study

Posted on: February 18, 2011

An article that was posted by a Facebook friend of mine, now I’m glad I practiced a lot, especially when I was a teen! And more reason to do private lessons,  choose longer lessons, get children to practice music lessons, and to be committed to at least a few years of music study.

Meri,

I am right with you on this one. It’s funny how you mention that you are now glad that you had practiced as a teen. I was “that kid” too! I always WANTED to practice! lol.
